Sitges announce new additions to the program

With a little over a month to go the festival organisers have today added a few more titles to the program.

NEW FILMS FOR THE OFFICIAL SELECTION

By our reckoning there are probably another hundred or so films to be announced and it’s around this time of year that the organisers get to announcing. That should keep us off the streets and out of trouble while we frantically compile OUR PREVIEWS and “must see” list.

Hook up with us on Twitter or throw us in your RSS reader as the previews should be coming thick and fast over the next four weeks.

We’ve Made A Movie!!!

One very cold day in February we got together with a couple of friends and managed to do what we’ve spoken about on numerous drunken nights – we got off our arses and made a film.

It’s our first short and after a lengthy editing process, it’s now available for your viewing pleasure. We’ve got a few more in the pipeline, although I doubt we’ll be troubling Hollywood anytime soon, you can find out more HERE.

Check it below:

Sound Of Noise – Our Sitges Preview

This is a great poster and from the ‘net footage it looks great. However, the idea of a  Danish police-comedy-musical isn’t really revving my engine.

Will it be Grease Lightnin’ or Phantom Of The Opera, click HERE to find out.

Trash Humpers – Our Sitges Preview

A couple of us saw Harmony Korine’s ‘Mr Lonely’ a few years ago and were heard muttering “what the fuck was that”.

I suspect that, should we make it all the way through, we’ll come out saying the same thing.

The Silent House – Our Sitges Preview

We’ve never sampled a Uruguayan film before, let alone a horror film shot in real time, in one take, and is based on a true story.

I’m pretty sure my name’s already on the ticket for this one, find out more HERE.

Rubber – Our Sitges Preview

It looks like we were correct in speculating that this was going to be shown at the festival, although after reading the various reviews I’m still convinced that this would be more successful in the Midnight Xtreme section rather than the Official Fantastic Selection.

Burning Rubber or Rubber Johnny?
