This film has been doing the festival rounds since last year and has already been released on DVD in the UK and US so I’m surprised it wasn’t in last year’s festival rather than this year.
I’ve got to ‘fess up and admit that I’ve seen this. Actually, I’ve seen the first half hour and switched it off as I wasn’t keen. I appear to be in the minority as most of the reviews I’ve seen have been pretty good, but I just found it too bleak and violent.
It’s a low-budget Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer style movie, and it’s not that it’s a bad film, or has poor acting, it just wasn’t for me.
