Apparently Werner Herzog has never seen the original Bad Lieutenant – lucky him. I can’t help but think this has got disaster written all over it. Usually, any film with Nicolas Cage has me avoiding it like the plague but there’s a part of me that’s tempted to see if this is as bad as I suspect that it’s going to be.
The trailer looks terrible and the reviews have been pretty poor, the original trailer that we found has now been taken down from Youtube and the only one we could find was in Italian. I doubt we’ll see this but this may be one of those ‘car crash’ films where you can’t help but look.
