The first IP Man was a huge hit so there’s no surprise they’ve made a sequel. This film covers the period from 1950 to 1960 of a rebellious Kung Fu teacher who wants to take his craft to the masses, and apparently he was also Bruce Lee’s teacher and Master.
Bearing in mind we swerved the first film when it played at Sitges a couple of years ago, chances are we aren’t going to see this one either. Don’t get me wrong, one of my earliest memories was seeing clips of Enter The Dragon that they put on Tiswas on a Saturday morning and I absolutely love that film, but from the look of the trailer we’re going to be treated to multiple fights, all shot with wires, and that’s really not up our street.
