Chatroom

Dir: Hideo Nakata; 2010; UK; Drama / Thriller; Aaron Johnson, Imogen Poots, Matthew Beard; 97 Min.

I have to be honest, being a slight techno-geek these kind of films are right up my street. Hideo Nakata directed Ringu 1 & 2 as well as the US remakes of Dark Water and Ring 2 so there’s no doubt that he can make great looking films and some of the acting talent, particularly Aaron Johnson from Kick-Ass, makes this film very appealing to me.

The only downside to this is that normally in Sitges I’d rather see films that I would never normally get to see in the UK, and seeing as this is a UK production with British actors, I suspect it will get released over here.

However, I probably won’t let that stop me, so expect a review on this one.
