Synopsis:
On April 4th, 2010, part of the Quintanilla Atauri family was found dead in their country house. The police discovered the existence of videotapes with 37 hours of recordings. That same month of April, two producers saw the opportunity to create a movie based on the material found there. They got the rights to it by convincing the murdered children’s father and agreeing to leave out certain parts that could tarnish the family’s memory. Atrocious shows the real images of everything that happened. A disturbingly real movie with a totally familiar setting.
